About halfway through sketching the book
As I’ve been making progress on the book, I’ve decided in some places to go ahead and correct some of the fallacies that I’d learned as a child. Not to say that the book doesn’t at least mention that it was once considered true but that it is no longer that way.

Anonymous asked: Scientists have NEVER thought that ANY dinosaurs flew or swam. Dinosaurs have always been, by definition, terrestrial. Pterosaurs flew, and plesiosaurs and mosasaurs swam. None of those are dinosaurs.

A quick word about my dino-book project...
My book project is to construct a whole book of dinosaur “facts” from memory along with minor commentary. For me, it’s interesting to see just how much has changed since I was a kid, and not just about dinosaurs!
I will likely be adding a preface, but I’ve been contemplating adding footnotes to correct all of the misgivings. We’ll see.
